"Miami Vice is good shit"-Az

Monday

So spent most of monday morning and afternoon doing some business stuff(will tell you guys more soon!) and playing the guitar! I still suck :( BIGTIME! haha. Anyway at ard 5 azmi came to my place after school to check out my new guitar. played till around 6 and then we headed out to play soccer.

Vic, lionel, edwin, my bro, az and i were playing 3 v3. The teams were lionel,edwin and azmi vs. me,my bro and vic. So it was supposed to be an even match with azmi's team having a slight advantage. Now, guess the final score.

How that happened i will never know. Oh, and for those who are blur..my team won =)

No one could get past victor at goal and with my bro's great play making and my runs..hehe! i scored 4 goals. Not bad eh.

Later after the match azmi broke fast at my place by drinking 1 gallon of ice-cold water. This is what happens when you play soccer non-stop at our pace.

Tuesday

Went to chinatown in the morning with dad and sis to run some errands. And then ate breakfast at this market thingy at Chinatown. Had char kway teo, and boy was it good! And it was only 2 bucks! fantastic.

After that my dad had to go off to do some stuff and so i wandered over to the new national library, at least new to me because i've never been there. And the architecture is beautiful but the place is so freaking complicated and you are not allowed to bring notes and textbooks inside! What about those people who wanna study? Well, none of my concern really..since i really don't study. =)

And they have friggin long urinals in the library! What's the bloody point?!

Anyway, i don't know how i ended up on the 8th floor, but i guess it had smth to do with me being a business student, cuz the 8th floor happens to be the business library. So seeing that i had time to kill i picked out this book:

It's the rise of Asia, and economics book for those of you whom may be so inclined to pick it up. And boy oh boy! This is the most powerful book ever! I fell asleep in about 10 seconds?

However the view from where i was sitting was fantastic!

After i got bored with "Rise of Asia", which was in about 10 secs, i picked up businessweek! And its filled with useful information that everyone needs to know about! For example:

There was also an exibition in the library, the world press photography exbition, which is a must see! The pictures were super nice! Like this:

After a while, i got a phone call from my dad to go for lunch at Singapore Swimming Club, which is a country club. So i walked over to raffles medical centre to wait for him and whilst walking there, i passed by one of the nicer looking buildings in Singapore. And again the picture does not do the building justice.

So my dad picked me up and we went to SSC for lunch with my mum and older sis. I had pan-fried salmon, and for desert oreo cheesecake!

After that, went to meet azmi at parklane, went to see some guitar shops and after that we went to PS to watch miami vice!

We looking retarded here, i blame the lighting and mother nature!

Oh and miami vice was good stuff! Very realistic as well! A must see! I would rate it 4/5.
However the chinese actressess accent spoiled everything!(is her name zhong li?!) It was horrible, like she was trying to talk with a bunch of marshmellows in her mouth. Using the chinese gal who acted in MI:3 would have been a much better idea!

The acting of these two was superb!

A must see!

On the way back home

Reached home around 10:30 and did not sleep till 4:30 because man utd vs. benifica was on!
And we beat benifica 1-0 ! It was a good match but rooney has seen much better days! It's allright though, he'll find his form!
